Aardvark Pest Control Pty Ltd is a South Australian owned and operated business with over 35 years of industry experience.
Aardvark Pest Control were the first company in Australia to develop and introduce the use of 'fibre optics' by using a 16mm boroscope for the detection and treatment of termites and other nuisance pests. This form of 'keyhole surgery' inspection and / or treatment allows for minimal disruption and destruction to commercial and private premises.
Our technical manager is constantly searching out new technology from around the world in order to manage pests in a more efficient and eco-friendly manner and still deliver outcomes that are expected by our domestic and commercial clientele.
At Aardvark Pest Control we have implemented an Environmental Management System based on the Environmental Act 1993 (South Australia) consistent with the requirements of ISO 14001 standards and are committed to carry out business in an environmentally responsible manner at all times and to:
- Minimize and prevent pollution where possible
- Set targets for the reduction of waste and energy consumption
- Use the waste management hierarchy to strive towards best practice in our industry
- Set, monitor and review environmental objectives
- Review, upgrade and improve the Environmental Management System
- To use a systematic, consistent and informed approach.
In conjunction with this and as a further commitment to delivering the best possible level of service and integrity our Managing Director, Mr. David Watkins, is a SA state council member of AEPMA & represents AEPMA on the Australian Standards Committee AEPMA (Australian Environmental Pest Managers Association), the Association that considers itself the voice of the Pest Management Industry and works toward the standardising and accountability of members of the Pest Management Industry in relation to all aspects of pest management, including environmental issues. Kay Carr, Administration Manager, have both served on the AEPMA SA committee in several different positions over the last ten years. Steve Watson, Technical Advisor has over 20 years experience working in all aspects of the pest control industry.
While we are S.A. based, we have a large network of approved Pest Management contacts interstate for which we do any local work and they are happy to reciprocate when our clients have interstate sites.
Our commercial portfolio is growing rapidly and consists of Hospitals, Aged Care Facilities, Hotels, Supermarkets (Drake), Variety stores, (Cheap as Chips), City buildings, DAIS sites, Transport depots and Shopping Centres throughout the state.
